The American multinational retailing corporation Walmart has once again come up with an exciting helping hand for its customers. Walmart is expanding its business in all possible ways to compete with its business rival Amazon.
Along with Amazon, Walmart too is doing a good business in the world of e-commerce and to enhance its business Walmart is planning to launch a new business plan called Mobile Express Returns where customers can avail the facility of return service.
In order to return the items purchased online, customers just need to log in to the Walmart app, generate a QR code and finally with the QR code they can visit the nearest physical Walmart store and exchange the items.
The whole new process will save time and at the same time will attract more customers too. In an interview last week, it was informed by a source that in case of bulky items customers can keep the items with them and still get a refund. This particular program is named as “Keep it”, which is a part of Mobile Express Returns program.
The new program will be launched in the month of November this year in more than 4,700 Walmart stores across the entire U.S. It has also been decided that by the year 2018, Walmart will expand its online business and at the same time the new service will be allotted to the third-party sellers on Walmart.com. It is also confirmed that Walmart will be not entertaining Jet.com in this segment.
According to SVP, WalmartServices and Digital Acceleration, Walmart U.S. Mr. Daniel Eckert, the new Mobile Express Returns process will work much faster, hence providing a fast service to the customers.
He also added that business is all about saving time, making money, and meeting customers’ requirements.
